Super Bowl

From the start of the game there were a lot of questions that needed to be answered.  The one that just entered my mind is who managed the clock better?  Seattle did the best calculated risk and reaped the reward.  Then at the end of the game the only question left is why not hand it off on second and one? The highlighted points in the middle don’t matter when Kearse makes a ridiculous, phenomenal catch and Marshawn gets you to the one, the eruption awaiting in Seattle would burst with Lynch busting across the goal line! Now imagine how the city feels.  Congratulations to Tom Brady for joining the most elite list of Quarter Backs.

Deflategate

The New England Patriots are accused of cheating again. This time for deflating their game balls two pounds under the standard PSI. Does this put a yard gap between Gronk and Greg Toler in the endzone? NO. Does it account for La Garret Blount going five or six yards before being touched on several runs? No.  Does it make it easier to grip the ball especially under slick conditions? Yes. The Patriots blew the Colts out of the water two Sunday’s ago but the fact remains it was raining; they felt they needed an advantage to win so they gave themselves the upper hand.  They will always be cheaters in my eyes.  At least this time the head coach had nothing to do with it.
